How can I add a counter in android, whenever I press a button the counter increments by one -

kindly, saving internal file , reading after using file input/output stream respectively. want during saving add together counter every time press save counter increments one. in advance

use activity level counter , increment value. in case need persist it, onpause , retriave on onresumt using shared preferences.
